To provide or perform religious support for all authorized personnel of NAS Corpus Christi, TX during peacetime and across the full spectrum of war in order to support the command in the facilitation of the free exercise of religion. To advise the command in matters of religion, morals, morale, and ethical issues in order to support the unit mission.

COOPERATIVE CHAPEL MINISTRIES
Welcome Aboard Luncheon: A welcoming meal for all station newcomers is offered each first Tuesday of the month at 12:15 in St. Joseph's Hall (Bldg 333).

Mother of Preschoolers: Meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 0930 in the Fellowship Hall (Bldg 117). In the summer there is a weekly activity planned. Contact the Chaplain's office for the schedule of activities.

Family Movie Night: is offered on the second Sunday evening of the month at 1730 in the Protestant Fellowship Hall (Bldg 117).

Marriage Enrichment Retreats: Begins on Friday evening and ends with lunch on Sunday. The setting is designed to enhance and support the ability of a couple to get away from the distractions of everyday life in order to improve their marriage relationship. Private rooms and bathrooms are provided, along with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All free of charge. Marriage Enrichment Retreats (MER) are conducted at the Omni Bayfront Hotel in downtown Corpus Christi. The next MER will be conducted 18-20 January 2008. OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Snack Pack Ministry: Pick up a few extra nutritious snack items and drop them off in the specially marked "Snack Pack" basket in the commissary checkout area or bring them by the Chaplain's office for delivery to children of local indigent parents.

Ministry to the Homeless:
-Metro Ministries Bible Studies - Come with the Chaplains for Bible studies conducted on the 3rd Monday of each month for homeless men and women in downtown Corpus Christi.
-Surviving the Night - Come with Chapel members on a truck provided by the Salvation Army. Volunteers are needed to help deliver hot meals and clothing items to homeless people living out on the street.
